King Valdemar has called upon the heroes of the land to go forth and seek out the evil that grows within, and meet it with sword and shield, with spell and staff, with great determination. And you are one such hero. But are you destined to become to greatest hero of the land? To be immortalized in song and story, in the memories of a thousand generations? Or will you fall into darkness, yield before the enemy, and rise a shadowy reflection of yourself, a blight upon the land? Only time will tell.
